Atlantic Preserve received a green light Thursday from the Martin County's Local Planning Agency on four Future Land Use Map changes that include almost 2,000 acres of environmentally sensitive lands.
The change for the Atlantic Ridge Preserve calls for an extension of the primary urban service boundary on a 800-acre development adjacent to the Hobe Sound Golf Club.
Another amendment would change 1,958 acres designated as agricultural ranchette and rural density to institutional public conservation. Micha plans on donating that land to the county.
The land use changes and extension of the boundary for utilities are up for the county's approval April 11.
